Bin Ameer Khatun Dam or Tharpal Dam
This lovely dam is located near Dhok Bin Amir Khatun, a historic village on Choasidan Shah Road. It is also called Tharpal Dam because of another nearby village and you will find it by the same name on Google Maps. This dam irrigates the lands of the region and is also a great place for tourism.
The unique thing about this dam is the location of its water, instead of being in the form of a large reservoir, due to the natural structure of the surrounding mountains, it is spread between them like the branches of a tree.
It is accompanied by a vast forest where remains of dinosaurs were also found, but it is necessary to have a proper guide to exploring these forests.
CHAKWAL WEATHERIt is approached from both Chakwal city and Choasidan Shah and is almost halfway between the two. The road passes through the village of Dhok Bin Amir Khatun. The dam can be easily reached by car or motorbike, and at the end, there is a dirt road that is not difficult to get to except on rainy days. The distance from the city to the dam is 30 km.
